One-on-one movement coaching for kids of every ability. Sport games, recess play, and adapted activities that build confidence, coordination, and the kind of fitness habits that actually stick.
About
I've been coaching kids for years now — kids on the spectrum, kids with physical differences, kids who'll tell you straight up that they hate sports. What I keep learning is there's almost always more in a kid's body than they realize, and almost always more they're willing to try than the world gives them credit for. The work, really, is helping them find it.
BE Coaching is what I built after watching too many kids fall through the cracks of typical youth sports. Too competitive. Too rigid. Too much about who's the best. Here, it's one kid at a time. We play games. We adapt as we go. Your kid doesn't have to be someone in particular to show up — they just have to show up. The rest, we figure out together.
How sessions work
Every session blends games, sport skills, and movement adapted to your kid. Held at parks, in your home, or at a facility we agree on — whatever works for your child and your schedule.
Who it's for
BE Coaching isn't built for any single kind of kid. It's built for kids — full stop — and adapted live to whoever shows up. A few of the kids I work with most often:

Two ways to pay: Non-Self-Direction (out of pocket) or Self-Direction through your fiscal intermediary. Same coaching, same care.

Sample reflections from families until real testimonials roll in.
We tried two other programs before finding Brandon. Both were a battle every week. With BE Coaching, my son actually asks if it's a session day. The work happens because the relationship works.
What I love is that I never feel like my daughter is being put through someone else's program. Brandon meets her where she is — some weeks bigger, some weeks smaller. She's grown so much in six months.
Our son is on the spectrum and most coaches either don't know what to do with him or try to make him fit a mold. Brandon doesn't do either. He works with the kid in front of him, and you can feel it from the first session.
FAQ
If yours isn't here, email me — I'll answer it directly and add it to the list.
NYC parks, playgrounds, your home, or a facility we agree on. I serve all five boroughs and adjust the location to your kid — some kids do best at a quiet park, some thrive in a backyard, some need the structure of an indoor space. We figure it out together at the intro call.
Roughly 5 to 14. Younger and older work too if there's a fit — the test isn't age, it's whether the kid wants to move and we can make a plan that works.
Yes — a meaningful part of my practice. Sessions for kids on the spectrum get adapted for sensory needs, transitions, and pacing. Some kids need a clear visual schedule before each session; some need a long warm-up; some need quieter spaces. We figure out what works in the first few sessions and build from there.
Yes. I work with families who self-direct services through OPWDD with a fiscal intermediary. The self-directed rate is published in the pricing section above and matches across our service agreement and every invoice. I can be added as a vendor with most NYC-area FIs — let's talk and I'll walk you through the paperwork.
Of course. Some kids do better with a parent watching, some do better with a parent out of sight — we'll figure out what works. Either way, I do a short debrief at the end so you know what we did and what to look for at home.
The first session is more conversation than coaching. I want to meet your kid, see what they enjoy, find out what they don't, and play a few games to read where they are with movement. I won't push hard — building trust is the actual goal of session one. By session three, we're working.
Once a week is the most common rhythm. Twice a week works great for kids building specific skills or working through bigger goals. Once a month works for tune-ups. There's no wrong answer — what matters is consistency.
24+ hours' notice — no charge, we'll reschedule. Less than 24 hours — 50% fee. No-show — full fee. If I cancel, the session reschedules at no cost. Weather rarely cancels anything; we'll move indoors or reschedule.
Yes. I carry general liability ($1M per occurrence / $2M aggregate), professional liability, and a sexual abuse and molestation rider. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, SafeSport trained, and background-checked. Certificate of Insurance available on request — many FIs and schools require one before partnership.
Send me a note via the form below. I'll reply within 24 hours, set up a free 20-minute call to talk about your kid, and if it feels like a fit we'll book a first session. No long-term commitment — we go session by session until both of us know we're in the right place.
